For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

The Cut Off Crawdads had to overcome a fine performance from Delmarva pitcher Maurice Richards to grab a 2-1 win at Crawdads Field. Richards allowed no runs over 6 innings. Cut Off reliever Edward O'Neil was the winner. His record is now 1-2. Steve Morrow took the loss.

Cut Off won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Steve Morrow on the mound for Delmarva, first baseman Mike Hill hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Crawdads fans to their feet.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Hill said.

The losing streak for Delmarva has now reached 6 games.
