Hobeaus Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus and the Lake Erie Arryns, pitcher Jim Mack was the difference between victory and defeat. The Smoky Mountain right-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 Hobeaus win. The 5th-place Hobeaus have won 5 consecutive games.
Eddie Clark won the game with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth. In the contest, the Smoky Mountain designated hitter went 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
