Delmarva first baseman Dennis Veeneman made his presence felt in the 7-5 Gallos triumph over the Laredo Hawks. Veeneman was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Reggie Schalk was credited with the save for Delmarva, his 1st of the season. The win gives Delmarva a record of 3-0.
