Roberts Plays Big Role in Cut Off Win
|
In a tight game between the Cut Off Crawdads and the Alameda Airmen, pitcher David Roberts was terrific on the mound. The Cut Off right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. The defeat makes Alameda 0-2.
Roberts tossed 89 pitches over 7 innings to clinch the win for the Crawdads. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts in the game.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Alameda manager Gonzalo Féliz said following the tough loss.
