Marchant Leads Matlacha Past Columbia
|
The Matlacha Manatees got a magnificent performance from pitcher Shaun Marchant, who muffled the Columbia offense en route to a tight 3-0 Manatees win at Columbia Stadium. Matlacha is 29-31 and Columbia, with the loss, 40-20.
Marchant scattered 2 hits over 7.1 innings for the Manatees. With the win, Marchant goes to 4-3 on the year with 49 strikeouts.
