The Grim Reapers knocked off the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 3-2, at The Shell. Frazer Gent was a big reason Grim won. The right fielder was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ánibal Maes was credited with the save for Grim, his 10th of the season. The Reapers sit in 8th place in the Silver A with a record of 21-28.
Gent had a timely hit for Grim in the top of the eighth. With Huntington trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-0 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season, making it 3-2, Grim.
Afterward, Reapers manager Terrence Eler was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
