Bender K's 13 En Route to 6-0 Caterpillars Win
|
Left-hander Horace Bender mesmerized the Huntington Hermit Crabs while leading the Grand Forks Caterpillars to a 6-0 victory. The win gives Grand Forks a season record of 21-13.
The Caterpillars liked what they saw from Bender. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Hermit Crabs to no runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, and striking out 13.
"I really like what we did out there today," Bender said after the game.
