Hermit Crabs Reel Off Another Win
|
Huntington third baseman William Martz helped his team beat the Kingston Mangos, 5-2. Martz, who leads the SA in RBI with 17, went 2 for 3 for the Hermit Crabs. Picking up the save was Marshall Dooley, his 5th. The Hermit Crabs, now 16-2, have had a terrific start to the season.
Martz contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Huntington in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Martz took a fastball from Nick Middleton and stroked the home run to left-center. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Hermit Crabs to leap in front, 2-1.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Huntington manager Rodrige Margalha.
