Martz Helps Huntington Cruise to 10-3 Win
A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old shortstop William Martz helped the Huntington Hermit Crabs beat the Yucca Valley Yellows, 10-3. Anastagio Puggioni, the winner, improved to 2-0. He held Yucca Valley to 2 runs on 3 hits over 5 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. The Hermit Crabs raised their record to 10-2.

Edwardo Brochado put Huntington in front, 9-0, when he took Leon Mannini downtown. His 3-run home run came with one out in the top of the second. It was his 2nd home run of the season.

"This is not a one-man show," said Martz. "A lot of the guys stepped up."
