The Huntington Hermit Crabs picked up a win at Ballpark of Yucca Valley, courtesy of Elijah Cox. The right-hander helped his team stop the Yucca Valley Yellows, 3-1. Cox went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-0. At 9-2, the Hermit Crabs have played well so far.

Huntington first baseman Jason Whittier helped his team take an early lead. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.
