In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Kennesaw Jets topped the Yucca Valley Yellows, 4-2, in USSL Single A action at Jets Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Kennesaw pitcher Andy Tate. Remie den Braber collected save number 1.
The Jets had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-1, Kennesaw, with one out. Yucca Valley, with runners on 1st and 3rd, was mounting a threat. Gonzalo Ordóñez dug in at the plate, but on a 0-2 fastball, he struck out.
The win gives the Jets a record of 1-5.
