Dean Tames Manatees
|
Columbia River Rats starter Timothy Dean had all his pitches working at Columbia Stadium. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-0 Columbia win over the Matlacha Manatees. The loss puts Matlacha at 2-4.
Dean made it look effortless. He scattered 2 hits over 7.1 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The Columbia right-hander encountered little resistance from the Matlacha hitters. His season record is now 2-0.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Dean. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
