Washington Generals starter Steve McGee turned in a top-notch performance against the Alaskan Bush Pilots at Washington Park. The result was a win for the Generals, 4-1. The win belongs to Larry Hodge in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Pablo Ávila took the loss for Alaskan. The Generals now own a record of 39-47.
Washington took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Lawrence Hobbs stroked a 2-run single to make it 3-1, Generals.
