Rocky Mountain rode a fine outing from starter Gerry Wells to victory over the Pontiac Godfathers at Pontiac Copperdome. The final score was 4-2. Dave Carroll earned save number 28 this season. At 57-27, Rocky Mountain is in first place in the Menard's A.
George Hudson made it 4-2 in favor of Rocky Mountain when he delivered a 2-run single. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Vibes went on to win.
