Delegorsa Lays Hammer Down in 8-1 Win
|
Idaho Falls and Washington got after it at Idaho Falls Park.
Washington had no answer for Idaho Falls Chukars hurler Jaime Delegorsa, who overwhelmed Generals hitters as the Chukars coasted to victory, 8-1. The loss makes Washington 33-30.
Delegorsa made it look effortless. He scattered 4 hits over 8.1 innings, while racking up 11 strikeouts. The Idaho Falls right-hander encountered little resistance from the Washington hitters. His season record is now 3-3.
"I got in a good groove," said Delegorsa. "I was getting some swings and misses."
