Ridin' High: Nores Hits for Cycle
|
Dídac Nores had a special day at Lang Park today, contributing to the Boston Patriots' 5-1 win and hitting for the cycle along the way.
The 32-year-old second baseman went 4-for-4, raking a single, double, triple and home run against the San Mateo Dirty Reds.
"Boy, Dídac had himself a ballgame, didn't he?" Boston manager Tyler Carter said later. "You don't see that very often."
For the day, Nores finished with 3 runs batted in and 1 run scored to go with his 4 hits.
Dídac Nores hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Sylvain Richard in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
This year Nores has hit at a .275 clip with 22 hits, 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
