Brewer, Walleye Get 2-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring contest, Walla Walla pitcher Adam Brewer was marvelous in his team's 2-0 win. Bill Anderson converted his 3rd save in 3 tries. With the win, the Walleye sit at 41-20.
Brewer, a native of Brewster, Massachusetts, was dealing all game. He kept Belleville hitters off-balance, while giving the Walleye 7.2 quality innings. Brewer threw 103 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 6.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Brewer told the Walla Walla Herald.
