Miller, Chukars Too Much for Torch
The exploits of first baseman Scott Miller, who is tied for 5th in the 3A in triples with 3, helped the Idaho Falls Chukars defeat the Mancelona Torch, 8-1. Miller was 2 for 3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Esteban Ocon closed it out for his 1st save. The Chukars are now 21-29, while the Torch fall to 21-29.

With Idaho Falls leading 4-1 in the top of the seventh, Miller hit a fastball from Gerjan Wemerman for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Chukars ahead, 8-1.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Miller told the Idaho Falls Daily News. "Whatever it takes."
