Bulls Trip Generals, 2-1, in Extra Innings
|
In a low-scoring game between the Belleville Bulls and the Washington Generals, pitcher Casper Trout was masterful on the mound. The Belleville right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-1 win. With the win over Washington, the Bulls improved to 17-21.
Timo van de Par clinched the win with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth. In the game, the Belleville third baseman drew 1 walk in 2 trips to the plate.
"It was a good effort all around," said Trout.
