Generals Topple Commodores, 3-0
|
The Washington Generals got a magnificent performance from pitcher Dean Kluin, who stifled the Put-In-Bay offense en route to a 3-0 Generals win at Washington Park. Earning his 5th save of the year was Daniel Goodhew. Washington now sits in 4th place in the Menard's A at 18-14.
The game could have flipped with no one out in the top of the sixth. But Dean Kluin made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With a runner on 1st and Put-In-Bay trailing 2-0, Kluin threw a slider to Sam White and White hit into a double play.
