Chambers Tames Pierogis
|
The Crescent City Krewe picked up a win at Field of the Krewe, knocking off the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 6-2. Starting pitcher Fraser Chambers played a key role in the triumph. Crescent City has now won 5 games in a row.
It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Chambers, who tallied 9 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing just 3 hits. Chambers, who is tied for 4th in the PAA with a 2.39 ERA, goes to 10-4 on the year with 106 strikeouts.
