Krewe Best Thunder Hawks in Pitching Duel
The Crescent City Krewe and Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks put on a pitchers' duel.

Crescent City starter Ryan Fox put a stranglehold on the Ft. Polk South offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Krewe to a 2-0 win. Their 60-38 record puts the Krewe first in the Premier AA.

Crescent City took a 2-0 lead on Omar Casteneda Jr.'s 8th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Ft. Polk South pitcher Teddy Barnes in the bottom of the seventh.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Ft. Polk South manager Mike Evans.
