Díaz, Cangrejos Fantasmas Wallop Pierogis, 10-1
|
Tony Díaz made an impact in the 10-1 Chesapeake win over Squirrel Hill. Díaz was 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Chesapeake has now won 4 straight.
With Chesapeake leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Díaz hit a fastball from Jacob Cox for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Cangrejos Fantasmas ahead, 4-0.
"It was a good win," said Chesapeake manager Tom Christensen. "Not without blemish, but good."
