Chambers Leads Crescent City to 3-2 Win
|
Crescent City Krewe starter Fraser Chambers pitched his team past the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 3-2. Wyatt Butler earned the save, his 2nd. The win makes Crescent City 54-33.
It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Chambers, who tallied 8 strikeouts in 6 innings while allowing just 2 hits. Chambers, who is tied for 2nd in the PAA in wins with 9, goes to 9-3 on the year with 95 strikeouts.
"Tough loss," said Gulf Coast manager Soseki Matsunaga. "But we'll learn from it."
