Fighting Imps Walk It Off for 32nd Win of Season
The Athletic Club KC Academy got a sterling performance from pitcher Richie Lems, but the Ithaca Fighting Imps still prevailed, 4-2. Lems threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. Ithaca reliever Dewitt Page picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Nalle Sijne shouldered the loss. The Fighting Imps, at 32-42, sit in 8th place in the Premier AA.

Nick Moran was the walk-off hero for Ithaca. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fighting Imps designated hitter hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"I like what I saw today," said Ithaca manager Albert Pérez, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
