Cangrejos Fantasmas Collect 3-2 Win Over Thunder Hawks
|
Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas starter Zayn Reddy was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 3-2. Chesapeake reliever Duk-yeo Cho got the win, raising his record to 5-2. Nick Johnston was tagged with the loss. The Thunder Hawks, now 28-39, have lost 4 in a row.
Chesapeake used the clutch hitting of Curt McCall to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Cangrejos Fantasmas the lead, 3-2. For the game, McCall had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
"Exciting game to play in," said McCall. "Getting the win makes it even better."
