|
Starting pitcher António Haritos pitched well enough to help the Pittsburgh Kingfishers beat the Baltimore Bullets, 4-3. Elton Ray earned his 21st save in 25 chances. The Kingfishers raised their record to 42-55.
In the bottom of the first inning, John Wilkerson went deep for the Kingfishers. With Pittsburgh trailing 2-0, he drilled a 2-run home run.
"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Wilkerson told the Pittsburgh Chronicle.
