Donald Scott never let the Whales get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Screaming Eagles to a win, 4-1. Scott got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 2 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Scott allowed no runs. Mercer Island, at 29-18, holds down second place in the Premier AA.

Making an impact for the home team was Matt Brown. In the bottom of the second, the 27-year old left fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Screaming Eagles.
