The New Orleans Voodoo defeated the Boston Patriots, 5-3, in United States Premier League action at Dunkin Donuts Park. New Orleans pitcher Pedro Cruz had a standout performance. Herman Stone earned his 10th save in 15 chances. The Premier League-leading Voodoo are 63-32.

Early in the game, center fielder Anthony Roosemont had a 2-run double for New Orleans. It was his 24th double of the season and put the Voodoo on top, 2-0.

Roosemont attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
