Yakima starter Jonathan Crawford pitched well against the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Hops Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Reliever Ignacio García picked up the win. His record improves to 1-2. Morgan Cartier took the loss. The Hops improve their record to 13-22 with the win over Ft. Polk South.

Yakima took a 5-3 lead on António Sáenz's 3rd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Sáenz hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Ft. Polk South pitcher Morgan Cartier visibly frustrated.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Sáenz told the Yakima Observer.
