The home crowd had a good time watching the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas and Mercer Island Screaming Eagles get after it.

Kel Jones led Mercer Island to a triumph over Chesapeake. The final score was 6-3. The right fielder went 3 for 5, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 1 run and added 4 RBI. Francisco Encarnación picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 1-0.
