The Ithaca Fighting Imps topped the Squirrel Hill Pierogis by a score of 7-6. Leading the way was first baseman Bob Fox. Fox went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Fighting Imps. Mario Méndez, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. The Fighting Imps, now 3-10, have not found much traction so far in 2052.

Ithaca took a 7-6 lead on Bob Hansen's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Hansen hit in the top of the tenth, left Squirrel Hill pitcher Tetsu Gato shaking his head.
