Ueno Leads Caldwell to 1-0 Win
|
Belleville Field was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.
In a well-pitched game between the Caldwell Chiefs and the Belleville Bulls, pitcher Naohiro Ueno was superb. The Caldwell left-hander helped his team win, 1-0. The loss has the Bulls at 3-3.
Ueno, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 1-1. In 8 innings of work, Ueno gave up no runs on 2 hits, while racking up 6 Ks. He kept the Bulls punchless, offensively.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Ueno.
