Pitcher Curtis Hall was sensational for the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Squirrel Hill Pierogis. Hall picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Hall, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. The defeat makes Squirrel Hill 2-5.

The Thunder Hawks got a big at-bat from third baseman Joshua Sheppard. For the game, Sheppard went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Ft. Polk South a 2-1 lead.
