Pierce Lifts Atoms to 9-6 Win
A 5-RBI performance from Brian Pierce, who is tied for 5th in the SAA in RBI with 55, helped the Bethesda Atoms beat the Billings Polar Bears, 9-6. The loss makes Billings 46-55.

Fred McElroy dealt the Polar Bears a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Bethesda leading 2-0, McElroy hit a 2-2 circle change for a 2-run single.

"We got the victory," said Pierce. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
