Highlanders Earn 8-6 Win Against Love Boats
Su-shun Hung knocked in 3 runs to help Asheville beat Lake Minnetonka, 8-6. The designated hitter collected 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. John Banks, now 2-3, was credited with the win. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2. At 50-33, the Highlanders have a slim two-game lead in the Silver AA.

Asheville used the timely hitting of Nathan Pretty to capture the win. The second baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the 14th inning to put the Highlanders on top, 8-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Hung.
