The home crowd had a good time watching the St. Petersburg Thunder and Lake Minnetonka Love Boats get after it.

Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Francis Caswell, the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats defeated the St. Petersburg Thunder, 7-4. Caswell slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Love Boats. Iván Cruz, the winner, goes to 5-4. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts over 6 innings. Waleliano Girawheen was called on to finish, recording his 12th save.

Caswell had a timely hit for Lake Minnetonka in the bottom of the sixth. With St. Petersburg trailing 4-3, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Lake Minnetonka.
