Polar Bears Topple Atoms with Late Rally
The Bethesda Atoms got a superb performance from pitcher Hideyoshi Sasaki, but the Billings Polar Bears still won the game, 8-1. Sasaki threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. Billings is now 34-42, Bethesda 36-40.

Billings took a 2-1 lead on Francisco Gómez's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Gómez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Bethesda pitcher Kyle Young shaking his head.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Gómez said.
