Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Dolphins
The Pine Island Dolphins picked up a win at Goodyear Hanger Dome, knocking off the St. Petersburg Thunder, 4-3. On the mound for Pine Island was right-hander Nobuharu Kouki, who played a pivotal role in the win. Vic Byrd earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. His record is now 2-1. The 8th-place Dolphins now have a win-loss record of 34-40.

The clutch hit was provided by José Silva. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Ed Wheeler in the bottom of the 12th.

"This place sure got loud," said Chua-kah Liu, the Pine Island manager.
