Tight Tilt Goes to Ogres, 4-3
|
The Olympia Ogres trumped the Asheville Highlanders, 4-3, at The Ogre Den. Olympia right fielder Milton Scott was terrific. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Javier Dávila picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-4. He struck out 4 in 7.1 innings. The Ogres, at 30-34, sit in 6th place in the Silver AA.
In the bottom of the seventh, Scott put his team in front with his 9th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Chong-yee Galván, made it 4-1, Olympia.
Scott called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
