Heron Field was the site for USSL Double A action featuring the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats and Billings Polar Bears.

The Billings Polar Bears faced a tough opponent in Lake Minnetonka pitcher Cisco Morales, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Heron Field by a final score of 5-0. Morales went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. Billings reliever Mo Huang was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Cisco Morales took the loss. Bob Robinson earned the save, his 4th.

Billings relied on the hitting of Karst Lourens to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Polar Bears on top, 3-0. For the game, Lourens had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Lourens told the Billings Bulletin. "Whatever it takes."

The Polar Bears improve their record to 29-34 with the win over Lake Minnetonka.
