Polar Bears Shut Out Pilgrims, 2-0
|
In a low-scoring contest, Billings pitcher Kim-Hu Tung was marvelous in his team's 2-0 win. José Medina got credit for the save for Billings. It was his 1st of the year. Billings is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The Polar Bears had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 2-0, Billings, with one out. Providence, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Juan Ramírez dug in at the plate, but on a full count sinker, he struck out.
