White Rips 2 Home Runs in 5-1 Polar Bears Triumph
The Billings Polar Bears stymied the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 5-1, at Heron Field. Ryan White had a good day at the plate. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for Billings. Billings reliever Ramón Gómez picked up the win, raising his record to 4-0. Edgar Pérez was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Polar Bears have a record of 18-15.

Billings took a 2-0 lead on Jason Reeves's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Reeves hit in the top of the seventh, left Lake Minnetonka pitcher Frank Gibbons visibly frustrated.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Reeves told the Billings Bulletin.
