The timely hitting of Yu-shu Liu helped the St. Petersburg Thunder down the Olympia Ogres, 7-2. Liu was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Thunder. The Thunder now own a record of 14-18.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Liu, who is tied for 10th in the SAA in hits with 29, hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Thunder into the lead, 4-1.

"I thought we played a nice game," Liu told the St. Petersburg Bulletin. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
