|
The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs racked up a win at Experimental Stadium, bumping off the Billings Polar Bears, 6-2. Ji-chor Ho, who started for Gwinnett, pitched effectively for his team. Gwinnett occupies 5th place in the Silver AA at 13-13.
Ahti Riikonen, who is tied for 8th in the SAA with a .475 slugging percentage, contributed to the Gwinnett win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
