Ogres Rally For 5-2 Win
|
Olympia Ogres starter Frank Randolf pitched his team past the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 5-2. The Ogres, now 13-13, have won 4 in a row.
Olympia used the timely hitting of Matt Fightmaster to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ogres on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Randolf said after the game.
