Pitcher Yin-reng Fong was sensational for the San Mateo Dirty Reds in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Pittsburgh Kingfishers. Fong picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Fong went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 7-2. Earning his 15th save of the year was Cisco García.

In the bottom of the fourth, Oasiz Wiesblatt delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 2nd, the San Mateo left fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Dirty Reds in front, 2-1.

"Runs were at a premium," said San Mateo manager David Dodds.

The Dirty Reds move to 35-48 with the win, while the Kingfishers drop to 37-46.
