The Billings Polar Bears beat the Olympia Ogres, 3-0. Billings pitcher and San Isidro, Costa Rica, native Ramón Gómez led the way. Gómez got the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 0 over 5.2 innings. Gómez allowed no runs. Cole Dawes got the save, the 6th for him this season.
Billings relied on the hitting of Randy Bravo to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Polar Bears on top, 3-0. For the game, Bravo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
