Reyes Silences Baltimore Bats
Aurelio Reyes was outstanding against Baltimore. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the PL with a 1 complete games, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Mockingbirds 5-3 win. Isaac Gunner, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 24th save. The Mockingbirds now have a mark of 43-39.

Reyes was in the zone all game. He frustrated Baltimore hitters while giving the Mockingbirds 7 innings of quality work. Reyes threw 107 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 14 punchouts.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Reyes told the Mississippi Bulletin.
