The 8-3 Barton Springs win over Lake Minnetonka was due largely to Mark Fuller. The Blues center fielder went 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Jorge Castro earned the save, his 1st. The win puts Barton Springs at 8-8.

Fuller contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Barton Springs in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Fuller took a cutter from Iván Cruz and stroked the home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Blues to leap in front, 3-1.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Fuller said.
